Weaver, Walter H., 89, of Festus, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. He was born December 12, 1926 in St. Louis, Mo. Son of the late Samuel and Julia (nee Crowley) Weaver. Walter was the loving husband for 69 years to his high school sweetheart Helen (nee Ehrlich) Weaver. He was the dear father of Cheryl (the late Gary) Ballew, Steven Weaver, Walter (Leslie) Weaver, Jr. He was grandpa to Vincent Weaver, Dawn (Ryan) Selsor, Christopher (Michelle) Weaver and Patrick Weaver, Ron Duncan, Jr., Sherri Cook, Tiffany Biesemeyer. Weaver, Walter H., 89, of Festus, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. He was born December 12, 1926 in St. Louis, Mo. Son of the late Samuel and Julia (nee Crowley) Weaver. Walter was the loving husband for 69 years to his high school sweetheart Helen (nee Ehrlich) Weaver. He was the dear father of Cheryl (the late Gary) Ballew, Steven Weaver, Walter (Leslie) Weaver, Jr. He was grandpa to Vincent Weaver, Dawn (Ryan) Selsor, Christopher (Michelle) Weaver and Patrick Weaver, Ron Duncan, Jr., Sherri Cook, Tiffany Biesemeyer. He was great grandpa to Gabrielle, Alexandria, Matthew, Thomas Weaver, Alyssa, Evelyn and Christopher Weaver, Sydney Riddle, Austin, Emerson and Mallory Selsor, Mara Ferris, Emily Duncan, Akasha and Gabriel Biesemeyer. Great great grandpa of Mitchell Riddle.

He was retired from Associated Cartage. Past President of the Jim Beam Bottle Club and he enjoyed bowling. He would say to Helen, and he says now to all he loved and all who love him; "I will see you in my dreams."

The visitation will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016, 3:00-7:00 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. 63010. The funeral service will be at 11:30 am, Monday, September 19, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, Mo. with full military honors.
