Claretta Jean Sartore, 94, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017. Daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle B. (nee Gobel) Bray. Preceded in death by daughter Sandra (Darrell survives) Deakins. Loving grandmother of Sheryl (AW) Earls, Darrell Deakins and Tiffany (Chuck) Brantley ; great grandmother of Josh (Lauren) Earls, Olivia (Luke) Budo, Samuel Earls, Chandler Brantley, Parker Brantley, Madeline Brantley; great great grandmother of Carson Earls and Connor Budo.

Faith and family were the most important things in Claretta's life. She lived to serve and had a servants heart. During the war...

Claretta Jean Sartore, 94, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017. Daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle B. (nee Gobel) Bray. Preceded in death by daughter Sandra (Darrell survives) Deakins. Loving grandmother of Sheryl (AW) Earls, Darrell Deakins and Tiffany (Chuck) Brantley ; great grandmother of Josh (Lauren) Earls, Olivia (Luke) Budo, Samuel Earls, Chandler Brantley, Parker Brantley, Madeline Brantley; great great grandmother of Carson Earls and Connor Budo.

Faith and family were the most important things in Claretta's life. She lived to serve and had a servants heart. During the war she held a "Rosie the Riveter" type job to support the men fighting overseas. In her spare time she loved tennis, golf and baseball.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017, 3:00-6:30 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. 63010. The funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 6:30 pm. Burial will take place on June 20, 2017, at Park Lawn Cemetery, Evansville, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations to deGreeff Hospice, 10024 Kennerly, St. Anthony Campus, St. Louis, Mo. 63128 appreciated.
